| Main activity | Agency of IFAS is a working body of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea with the status of an international organization, which operates on the basis of the rights, powers, benefits and privileges established by the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea in accordance with the regulation on the Executive Committee of IFAS. The activity of the Agency of IFAS is organized at the expense of contributions of the Republic of Uzbekistan to IFAS and ensures the preparation and implementation of projects and programs of the Aral Sea basin within the budgets provided for these purposes. Projects and programs to solve the problems of the Aral Sea basin, for which the Agency of IFAS provides management, are implemented by attracting funding and contributions that are at its disposal for all these purposes from all kinds of sources, including funds from international donors. |
